Three Sikh Portraits Added To Central Sikh Museum in Amritsar

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Portraits of former SGPC members S. Baldev Singh Mahilpuri, Jathedar Inder Singh Kirtowal and Shiromani Kavishar Giani Baldev Singh Bainka were added to the Central Sikh museum of Sri Harmandir Sahib on May 20. Head Granthi Giani Jagtar Singh unveiled the portraits in the museum following the recitation of melodious Kirtan by Bhai Sandeep Singh.

Addressing Sikh devotees present, Giani Jagtar Singh said that portraits of only those Sikh personalities are placed in the central Sikh museums who have made exemplary contributions for the high spirit of Sikh nation.

Families of former SGPC members S. Baldev Singh Mahilpuri, Jathedar Inder Singh Kirtowal and Shiromani Kavishar Giani Baldev Singh Bainka were also honoured with ‘Siropao’ (robes of honour) at the event.
