:dateline:The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee on May 12 hosted an important meeting of Gurdwara Singh Sabhas of Delhi to inform them about the movement to be commenced on May 14 for the re-establishment of Gurdwara Gyan Godri at Hardwar.
SGPC and DSGMC are jointly going to launch a movement for the reconstruction of Gurdwara Gyan Godri at Hardwar on May 14. SGPC appointed Akal Takhat Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh will lead the movement.
DSGMC President Manjit Singh GK announced that the Sikh community will not compromise to establish Gurdwara Gyan Godri on some another place till the Government doesn�t allocate the original venue of Gurdwara Gyan Godri on banks of Ganga river in Hardwar. GK further said that it was a fight for human rights and the movement will be continued until achievement of goal.
DSGMC General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa recalled major achievements of DSGMC in the last four years. He also congratulated the DSGMC President Manjit Singh GK for launching the movement for reconstruction of historical Sikh shrine. �
It is pertinent to note here that during fourth �Udaasi�, the founder of Sikhism Guru Nanak Dev Ji had shared message of�humanity at Haridwar. Gurdwara Gian Godri Sahib was established in the memory of Guru Nanak Sahib�s valuable teachings at Har Ki Paorhi in Haridwar. The Gurdwara was demolished while carrying out the beautification project of Ganga River.
It is important to rebuild the gurdwara Gyan Godri , but the important issue right now before us the attack on Sikhi itself. What are these organisations about the concentrated attack of RSS and their cohorts at Patna sahib and Nander in declaring that Guru Gobind Singh ji was pujari of Durga and was desh rakshak. All the things which Our Guru’s forbade us to do like idol worship burning of jots believing in miracles chanting of hindu chants etc ( this is not a complete list) are happening in our gurdwaras .Guru Gobind Singh ji told us to follow only one Guru and that is ” Guru Granth Sahib Ji”and now what is happening these people are trying to establish bachittar natak as our parallel Guru. It is mind boggling that these people are pushing this granth which totally based on hearsay as something written by Guru Gobind Singh ji.If this keeps up will sikhi survive or we all become another branch of Hindus then what is use of building another building which is going to have statues in it.Sikhs should wake up and devise ways how to counter all this instead of following these so called leaders blindly.
