Navjot Sidhu Commends Virasat-e-Khalsa’ Museum

:dateline:On April 29, the Cabinet Minister of Punjab Navjot Sidhu paid visit to the Virasat-e-Khalsa museum at Sri Anandpur Sahib along with Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Kanwarpal Singh.

Interacting with media, Navjot Sidhu highly commendedthe Virasat-e-Khalsa museum which portrays the 500 years old historical facts related to culture of Punjab and Sikhism. He said that the maintenance of such museums needs to be taken seriously as a permanent source of income is required to maintain and keep running these projects. He added that managing these projects by taking loans was not a good choice as these projects couldnt be run for long time in this way.

Navjot Sidhu said that the Virasat-e-Khalsa project incurs Rs. 9 million monthly out of which Rs. 3 million goes directly to the company managing the project. He said that to make this project self-dependent, the Punjab government will launch a project on the free 60 acre adjacent to the project site.

  1. The history presented at that museum is all from hindu point of view. Another distortion of our religion at the hands of Brahmins like Sidhu and of course Badals and BJP cohorts.

  2. Badals have destroyed the historical look of that area where you could feel how Guru Sahib foght from fort of Anand Garh. The people who have seen the previous look of that area only they can understand what damage government of India done via Badals & remaining historical places will be destroyed by BJP Leader Navjot Sidhu wearing congress mask.
