:dateline:The Burail jail authorities on April 5 presented the medical report of political Sikh prisoner Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara before the special Court organized in the precincts of jail. Notably, the jail authorities were asked to present the medical report of Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara by the Court in last hearing.
As per information available from sources, the Deputy Superintendent of Burail jail Amandeep Singh presented the reports of X-ray and some other tests conducted by a team of doctors few days back. Deputy Superintendent Amandeep Singh claimed before the Court that the X-ray report couldn�t illustrate the health problems of Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara and MRI test was required to further examine Tara�s physique to trace problem.
Amandeep Singh�further claimed that as per section 268 of Cr.P.C (Code of Criminal Procedure) Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara couldn�t be brought outside the jail precincts due to which the Jail authorities had already moved an application before the Home Secretary of Union Territory of Chandigarh seeking permission. ����
It is pertinent to note here that the political Sikh prisoner Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara had been suffering of severe back pain and he had sought permission for suicide from the Court.
