Phoolka Asks Captain to Regulate Fees in Private Schools

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—AAP legislator from Dakha and Opposition leader HS Phoolka has asked the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to regulate the admission/re-admission fee structure and purchase of books in various private schools of Punjab. He has said that the CM should immediately give attention toward this issue as the admission season was round the corner.

Referring to the successful firm stance of the Delhi government to help control the looting of parents by private schools and institutions, Phoolka pleased with the new Punjab government to take heed.

Former Advocate of Supreme Court HS Phoolka has also sought the immediate release of funds for Government schools in Punjab as the admission season was on. He has said that by raising the quota of funds for Government schools, the Punjab government should bring the Government schools to a par with private schools. “It’s the only way to save common citizens from financial loot and utilize the government resources to build up robust generations in Punjab”, he added.

Referring to the recent government instructions to stop the funding of various civic projects running in various towns and villages, Phoolka said that the projects which are in the pipeline should not be scrapped as it may cause inconvenience and sufferings to the public.
