She is the only Member of the Legislative Assembly from this constituency, and the only Muslim member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. �Charanjit Singh Channi won elections from�Chamkaur Sahib. �Brahm Mohindra won from Patiala rural. �Along with him,�Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and Rana Gurjit Singh are to be included in the cabinet.
