:dateline:Akali minister Sikandar Singh Maluka reportedly faced wrath of Sikh masses on January 25 when he reached village Dhapali of constituency Rampura Phool during election campaign. �Several Sikh protesters forced him out of the village without�allowing him to complete his scheduled visit.
Reliable sources have informed that the residents of village Dhapali had earlier announced to question Akali minister Sikandar Singh Maluka about his anti-Sikh approach in various incidents and failure of ruling Shiromani Akali Dal led Punjab government in unearthing the conspirators of state-wide Guru Granth Sahib desecration incidents.�
As per the announcement, Sikh masses in large number started gathering at the venue to question Sikandar Singh Maluka. Observing large rush of Sikh masses, the district police and administration of Rampura Phool quickly escorted Maluka away to avoid any untoward incident.
Local villagers�informed that the outraged Sikh masses chanted anti-Maluka slogans and announced to bar entry of Akali leaders�into Dhapali village.
It is pertinent to note here that the controversial Akali leader Sikandar Singh Maluka was recently addressed as ‘Tankhahia’ by the Interim Akal Takhat Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand for attending a function in which the sacred Sikh ‘Ardas’ was imitated by a Hindu priest worshipping the Hindu deities.
