Sukhdev Singh had resigned from the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal’s party) in October 2015, in protest of the desecration of Guru Granth Sahib Ji incidents throughout Punjab, and the Punjab government’s failure to unearth the conspirators behind it. He was the General Secretary of SGPC at that time.
It is being speculated that Bhaur’s induction into AAP will benefit the local AAP candidate Harjot Kaur as he has strong popularity in Banga.
Once known for his proximity to ex-SGPC President Gurcharan Singh Tohra, Sukhdev Singh Bhaur is estimated to bring along with him 8000 voters into the AAP.
We are openly support AAP and proud to be a supporter, being a British citizen I’m encouraging my relatives and friends to vote AAP because I can’t personally vote for it, let’s hope for all good. I really want party to shine above all with positive approach. All the best wishes to party. My parental background is ‘Banga Halka’ my whole family is in Canada and they are all in favour and support for AAP.
