Message: No matter how short a time we spend with likeminded inspiring people or have a chance to hear them or talk to them, it is always fruitful. Therefore Bhagat Kabir affirms, whether it is just a small period of time, half of it, or even half of that, whatever little time we converse prudently with the devout, it is all profitable. Through this engagement, we learn something good and it is never a waste of time.
The benefits of association with good and wise people (bhagtan setee goste) are beyond words. Once we are involved with right-minded people, we will find ourselves wiser and on the path to enlightenment. This would ultimately strengthen us to face any obstructions in the journey of life.
