:dateline:An event marking the 28th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh and Shaheed Bhai Kehar Singh will take place�at the Gurdwara Sahib of village Agwan in Gurdaspur this Friday, on January 6. The event will also commemorate�the 16th�anniversary of the passing of Bibi Surinder Kaur, who was wife of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh.
Bibi Surinder Kaur was the fianc� of Bhai Satwant Singh when he assassinated Indra Gandhi in retaliation for her murderous attack of Harmandar Sahib (Golden Temple), Amritsar Sahib, in 1984. After the martyrdom of Bhai Satwant Singh, Bibi Surinder Kaur showed true dedication when she�continued on with her planned wedding ceremony�with the photo of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh.
Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh was martyred�when he was shot and killed as the assassination took place,�while Shaheed Bhai Kehar Singh was hanged by the Indian government on January 6 1988 for master minding the plan along with assassin Shaheed Bhai satwant Singh.

Unfortunately the current basal and his puppets do not recognise the shaheedi of these great heros of our nation and yes agreed these sgpc should be given the boot ousted by all sikh sangat.
They should never be forgotten, and their martyrdom day should be remembered by sikhs all over the world. Only consideration is that in these remembrances officials of SGPC should not be allowed to participate.
