:dateline:Reacting to the recent announcement by the Aam Aadmi Party of nominating Bhagwant Mann against Sukhbir Badal from Jalalabad, the latter has dared Arvind Kejriwal to contest election against him. �This past week, the Aam Aadmi Party announced that Bhagwant Mann would be their candidate from Jalalabad in the upcoming elections.
Terming Kejriwal’s move of nominating Bhagwant Mann as an attempt to hide behind proxies, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal today�said that Kejriwal was familiar that the Punjab masses won’t accept him so he was trying to run from the fray by putting forward his proxies. �Sukhbir today held a meeting with other Akalis and held a press conference here.
Speaking with the press, Sukhbir referred to Kejriwal as a devil and added that Bhagwant Mann had sold his soul to Delhi.
He added that Bhagwant Mann’s political career is finished. �”Look, everyone knows that. �This is why Kejriwal has chosen Bhagwant Mann against me. �Why wouldn’t he [Kejriwal] contest the election from Jalalabad directly? �No one knows Bhagwant Mann in Ferozepur, he belongs to Sangrur,” jr. Badal added.
