Bhai Lakhwinder Singh Lakha surrenders before Burail jail authorities

14333146_1073607322754934_7197763606715201357_n:dateline:Political Sikh prisoner Bhai Lakhwinder Singh Lakha, who is serving life sentence at the Burail Jail in Chandigarh, today surrendered before the jail authorities after 42 days of parole.

Bhai Lakha was released on parole for 42 days on August 8. �He is serving life sentence for his role in former Chief Minister Beant “Singh’s” assassination.

This was�Bhai Lakha’s first parole after about 7 months. Earlier, he was allowed to return home for a short period in January this year.� Bhai Lakha spends majority of his parole at his sister�s house in Ludhiana.�

Scores of Sikh activists including Bhai Jang Singh (brother-in-law of Bhai Lakhwinder Singh Lakha) and Bhai Bhavandeep Singh (Bandi Singh Rehai Sangharsh Committee) dropped Bhai Lakha outside the Burail jail premises.
