MP Bhagwant Mann said that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also denied intervening in the matter to provide clearance of the CCL to the Punjab government.

Claiming of an about 20000 crore scam by the Punjab government, MP Bhagwant Mann said that during the 2015-16 fiscal year, a defalcation of Rs. 925 crore had come in fore and the Punjab government toughly arranged to get a clearance of Cash Credit Limit from the Reserve Bank of India. Mann added that if in a single procurement Akali Dal led Punjab government could embezzle Rs. 1000 crore then obviously it has scammed about Rs. 20000 crore while procuring 18 crops during its 9 years long regime.

Mann said that the Punjab government needs Rs. 25000 crore for the procurement of paddy and if the RBI doesnt clear the Cash Credit Limit, then the state is going to face an acute financial crisis.
