SYF Bhindranwale Holds Hindutva Radicals Responsible For Disturbing The Communal Harmony Of Punjab

Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal:dateline:The Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala (SYFB) has held right-wing pro-Hindutvaradicals responsible for disturbing the communal harmony across Punjab. Talking with Sikh24, SYFBs Senior Vice President, Bhai Ranjit Singh, said that revelations made by the Punjab police in the case Quran sacrilege made the scene clear.

Bhai Ranjit Singh said that radical organizations like the RSS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, BJP, and Shiv Sena were targeting the Holy Scriptures of minorities. “Radical bodies have stooped to such a low extent that they have forgotten the basic tenets of their own religion and are spreading hatred across the country,” he added.

He further added that these organizations are making every possible effort to attack minorities in Punjab. “Photos of prophets of minorities are being uploaded regularly to show disrespect by these radicals but the Government is not taking action against such communal elements,” he added. He maintained that when trying to get the issue highlighted by the Punjab government and the Punjab police, they both start drama, but the culprits are never arrested.

Emphasizing on the need of a Sikh Sovereign State, Bhai Ranjit Singh said that Khalistan was an ultimate solution to all Sikh problems.

This past week, tensions were on the highafter torn pages of the Quran were found in a drain in front of the cemetery on Khanna Road. Since then, political parties have tried to play a blame game in Punjab.

  1. Harinder – you having a laugh at our expense! Hinduvata and Punjab police are surely keeping law and order by destroying minorities. You really need to tell this to the badal and others not the Sikhs = face reality what is going on at the moment.

  2. You don’t need a law to maintain communal harmony anymore than you need a law telling you not to poke yourself or others in the eye. What you need is an enforceable sanction against politicians such as the Badals (who are ruling at present and therefore have the most to lose from losing elections along with their Hinduvta backers) and Hinduvta organisations from stoking sectarianism. We have had the beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib in past year with RSS and other Hinduvta groups delighting and now with desecrations of Musslaman’s Quran in Malerkotla where one of the three suspects arrested, Nand Kishore Goldy, is State Secretary of Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP). Radical Hindu organizations (and the RSS is a terrorist accused militia) who claim to be plaintiffs of National Integrity are demolishing the communal harmony in Punjab and are the ones who need strict action brought against them rather than trying to introduce ever more draconian laws which let the police shoot Sikh protesters dead in the street without any punishment whatsover. It’s not the people who are the problem but rather those who wish to keep them under heel and have used numerous highly suspect laws (TADA, POTA etc) to ‘legitimise’ systematic human rights abuses against the people of Punjab (yes including Hindus too if you wish to look at the terrible story of Bapu Chaman Lal). No enforceable sanction is available of course because there is no line of distinction between the self serving polity and the totally subservient police and judiciary in Punjab which now only serve as the hobnailed boot to the politician’s foot in stamping on the people’s civic and human rights.
As for most Punjabis would prefer to leave a disturbed Punjab have you still not understood that Sikhs have been forced to live in their homeland for more than 30 years in a disturbed Punjab? Those who could not bear the pressure of violent human rights abuses from the police (and even then are pursued to Portugal on trumped up charges which are thrown out of European courts) and economic strangling by the polity have fled abroad as political asylum seekers and economic migrants leaving their brethren to be subjected to a drug assault by corrupt police officers (your erstwhile law enforcers) and their political masters (Badal clan’s Majithia is accused of being heavily involved in drug traffiking for example). As for your tired mantra nations created and destroyed by empires I tell you again nations are created and destroyed by individuals – which empire helped Ranjit Singh create the Khalsa Raj? As for destroying it that can be laid at the feet of just four turncoat traitors: the Dogra brothers Dhian and Gulab and their turncoat Generals Lal and Tej Singh. The BJP are currently engaged in a programme to rewrite Indian history – the pathetic attempt to saffronise Baba Banda Singh Bahadur is a recent example – so might be a better start for you and others to just listen to the BBC’s recent radio documentary on Ranjit SIngh’s Sikh Empire which can be downloaded from their ‘In Our Time’ website http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b075t5mn . It is the Hinduvta domination agenda which is causing all the strife and the BJP, RSS, Shiv Sena et al have to be sincere enough to abandon this pernicious religious hegemony notion (ironically one the Taliban minded Moghuls shared which was equally rejected and resisted by the Sikhs) for the greater good of the country.

    • As politicians in India and Punjab have both the police and judiciary in their pockets and can easily avoid prosecution and indeed proclaim ‘clean chits’ as Kamal Nath has done so recently, enforceable sanctions must be beyond both police and judicial interference. This means mandatory lifetime bans from holding public office and pre-set compulsory punitive fines as loss of power and money are the only things politicians fear. But of course your ‘lawmakers’ will never sanction these so the ordinary man continues to suffer whilst the politician hops and dances, making merry as he throws coloured powder to celebrate Holi.

  3. We must maintain law and Order in Punjab and no one must be allowed to disturb its peace.
The law makers need to draft a law on how to maintain “COMMUNAL HAROMONY ” in the state with all the stake holders and implement it with sincerity .
If we are going to have a disturbed situation in Punjab then most Punjabis are not interested in staying in Punjab .
As for Nation making is concerned please remember that Nations are created and destroyed by “EMPIRES”.
