:dateline:83 years old fasting Sikh activist Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was re-arrested on June 10 and once again admitted at the�Dayanand Medical College & Hospital of Ludhiana. Due to Bapu Ji’s worsening health, the DMCH authorities are ready to force feed him once again.
Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was arrested by Punjab police on June 10 from his residence in village Hassanpur. The police broke in and forcefully arrested Bapu Ji by locking his family members in a separate room. Even the room door of Bapu Ji was broken by the Punjab police to arrest him.
Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi (Bapu Surat Singh’s son), stated that the family was not even aware of where the police kept Bapu Ji�until the evening of June 10. �”We came to know during�the late night that Bapu Ji was once again admitted to the Dayanand Medical College & Hospital.”
“I don’t know how Bapu Ji is being kept there or about his well-being. �None of us are being allowed to see him. �All I know through some good will DMCH employees that so far Bapu Ji�has not agreed to take any substance and he has also refused treatment,” Gogi told Sikh24.
