In Ropar, Sikh Sangat gathered at the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Bagh and took out a march to the District Administrative complex where they handed over a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner demanding CBI probe from the President of India. Similarly in Ludhiana, the supporters took out a march from Verka point on Ferozepur Road to the Mini Secretariat.  In Sangrur, the about 250 Sikhs led by Bhai Gurnaib Singh handed over a copy of memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner after conducting a march in the city amid heavy rain.

Bhai Jagmitha Singh Dhakki Sahib told the Sikh24 that Sikh Sangat was being threatened by the followers of Baba Harnaam Singh Dhumma while the Police have become a mute spectator.

This past week on May 27, while speaking at Bhai Bhupinder Singh’s bhog, Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale sought CBI probe into the attack.  Bhai Dhadrianwale said that he has lost faith in the Government and the police and wants a complete probe done by the CBI.

“While every single person living in Punjab knows what is going on and who is behind the attack, the Government is trying to shield the real culprits.  We are not convinced at the actions taken by the Government, and hence we call for a thorough investigation in the case by the Central Bureau of Investigation on the attack that led to the death of Bhai Bhupinder Singh,” Bhai Dhadrianwale said on May 27.

“We have no faith in the Punjab Government and we want full investigations by the CBI. In order to get the attack probed, Sikh Sangat throughout Punjab should hand memorandums to their District Commissioners.” Dhadrianwale said that while at the time of Guru Granth Sahib’s beadbi, he sat on dharnas, he doesn’t feel during summer days, general public of Punjab should suffer when roads and trains are blocked in protests. He said he is going to peacefully continue the movement to get the real culprits and masterminds arrested. Dhadrianwale asked his supporters to submit memorandums to their District Commissioners without raising any slogans.
