“We have been supporting The Daily Show for weeks in putting this piece together, and because of the secrecy of their segments we were told only minutes ago that it is scheduled to air on this evening’s program,” Sapreet Kaur said in a press statement shared with Sikh24.com.
On average, 500,000 Americans watch The Daily Show every night and potentially millions more watch on various websites and social media channels in the days that follow.
“We anticipate the segment will be yet another significant moment for us to introduce even more Americans to their Sikh neighbors. We believe this has the potential to influence hearts and minds in a way that�s both original and deeply impactful,” Satpreet Kaur added.
