Pained over the terrorist attack, Giani Gurbachan Singh in a press statement issued earlier today�sought�strict punishment for the culprits responsible for attack. �He said Sikhs are peace loving people who do not discriminate with others based on their color or religion. �”Our Gurdwaras are open for entire humanity and service is performed for the well-being of others. �It is really painful that someone would target a Sikh place of worship,” he stated in the press note.
SGPC President Avtar Makkar also condemned the incident in Germany and asked the police to nab the suspects at once. �He said that Sikhs living worldwide have been disturbed by the attack. �”Sikhs pray for well being of the entire humanity three times a day at all Gurdwaras. �Wherever the Sikhs have migrated to, they have worked with great honesty and pride,” he said.
The blast at the Gurdwara Sahib in Essen yesterday left three persons injured.
