:dateline:Yesterday, the Khalsa Heritage issued a poster inviting kathakar Sarbjeet Singh Dhunda for an open discussion.� Dhunda is currently on tour in�California.� Protests were held at two Gurdwaras this past week, while one Gurdwara Sahib in Yuba City cancelled Dhunda’s�scheduled�program. �Due to the protests, he has so far only managed to speak at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Fresno.
Dhunda�s program on April 10 in Fresno coincided with a seminar organized by Khalsa Heritage during which international scholars spoke about various topics related to Sri Dasam Granth.� Amongst the key speakers were Dr. Harbhajan Singh and Dr. Anurag Singh.
During his katha at Gurdwara Singh Sabha on April 10, Dhunda invited his protesters to come and discuss the issues with him.� The stage secretary, Gurpreet Singh Mann also made a similar appeal when he warned the protesters that they would face�consequences if they protested inside the Gurdwara.� �Anyone who disagrees with us may protest outside, however, if you wish to remain inside the Gurdwara, you must be willing to sit down peacefully.� If you wish to present an argument, you can do so after the katha,� he said, when introducing Sarbjeet Singh Dhunda.
However,�Dr. Gurtej Singh, one of the organizers of the Khalsa Heritage seminar had stated�that when�asked to debate upon these topics, Dhundha�had refused to have a meeting.
�We are looking to resolve this issue once and for all.� Sarbjeet Singh Dhunda is in California and so are several scholars who know this topic inside and out.� We wish to sit very peacefully and discuss this issue,� Gurpal Singh Hansra said. ��So far we have made several calls to Sarbjeet Singh Dhunda�s supporters, but they have not responded to our request to have an open discussion.”
Gurdwara Singh Sabha secretary, Gurpreet Singh Mann, did not respond to Sikh24�s requests for comment.

Sangat ji do not follow this baymukh who is turning you against Amrit bani, if you have any doubts about guru gobind singh jis bani then you can take a hukamnama from Guru Granth Sahib ji, satguru ji can recognize Amrit bani, have you ever asked Guru Granth Sahib ji about guru gobind Singh jis bani? Sikhs are to follow one guru, and that is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. There are no other “granths” for the Sikh. Guru Gobind Singh Ji was the one to declare this. He named Sri Guru Granth Sahib as the one true guru so as to avoid future controversy, such as the one we have here before us with the Dasam Bani.
So we can’t read the Amrit Banis of guru. Gobind Singh ji! Jaap sahib svai and Chaupai sahib random joeginder do you follow the panth or your own mind? The panth gave bachan in the sikh rehit maryada that svaiye. Jaap sahib,Chaupai sahib and ardas are bani. If you can’t accept the panth as your guru if you can’t except guru gobind Singh Ji’s Amrit Banis then don’t call yourself a sikh of the khalsa panth a sikh of guru gobind Singh ji!
Guru Gobind Singh Ji conferred in public total Guruship onto his compiled version of Adi Granth to create ‘GURU’ GRANTH SAHIB. By that defining act and by him bowing in turn to the Guru Granth Sahib he created the final and eternal successor Guru for the Sikhs. All you need to know as a Sikh is right there in the Gurbanis contained within GURU GRANTH SAHIB. You need nothing more and Guru Gobind Singh as the final compiler and editor would have been at liberty to include any material from this so called Dasam Granth if he had thought it worthy. The fact that he did not tells you again as a Sikh you are to take instruction from the Guru Granth Sahib alone.

@Prabhsimran Singh cascadiawala. I follow my one and only True Guru as per strict and direct instructions from my 10th master Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. I wholeheartedly accept my Guru instructions and refuse to bowdown to any other guru, baba, or saint no matter how many years others have been blindly doing so. I am a Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Ji because I actually believe his order only, not some saint baba kickin it maharaja style in his dera getting his legs massaged and being fed single grapes by his followers. I have only ONE maharaja and that is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I am Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Sikh because I am not going against his pretty simple instruction of NO MORE FOLLOWING anything or anybody else, especially bowing my head.

You dont have to call it “Sri Dasam Granth Sahib.” You are making it sound like there is more than one granth Guru Gobind Singh told sikhs to follow. Do you know where the “dasam bani” came from? Who introduced it to the sikhs? Why is there some language, vocab, and grammar totally different than the styles used in Sri Guru Granth Sahib? Why does the dasam book talk about things totally against basic Sikh principles? Why is there stories in there similar to hindu holy books? Was there an ulterior motive when it was introduced? Could the one and only Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji write ridiculous and blasphemous stories.
One thing I can guarantee is that followers of holy books other than Sri Guru Granth Sahib, are not Sikhs of the 11 gurus. I can guarantee these people bowdown to a human form of guru or baba. I can guarantee you that these people are not following Sikhi intended by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. They are “holier than thou” yet highly uneducated in how they have been brainwashed by their baba.
I cannot say if Dhunda is completely right or wrong, but what I do know is, that he at least makes an attempt to have a discussion. I have never heard of a sant baba pose real questions and make us question our brahmanic rituals and tendencies in public. Why would a baba ruin his potential source of income?
You allow your mind to bow down to another than the Khalsa Panth, read the panths bachan in Sikh rehit Maryada, a Sikh is one who believes in Bani of All TEN GURUs as well as guru grants sahib ji bani, why do YOU follow some baba and not the Panth, jaap sahib chaupai sahib svaiyye mandatory for Amrit, why do YOU follow some baba and not the Panth bachan? In the panths bachan ardas is written, the author is stated to be guru gobind Singh ji, Why do YOU follow some baba and not the Panth.? My baba is the Khalsa Panth the body of the jot of Gurbani, who have given he bachan of the Sikh rehit Maryada who is your baba?
Well the sikh community really does need some sort of morality. There are heretic babas and sants who are preaching a brahmanic and utterly nonsensical theories and stories just so their saint store doesnt close down.
