If the Supreme Court of India passes judgement against Punjab in the Satluj Yamuna Link canal case, I implore Parkash Singh Badal to resign as the Chief Minister of Punjab. �If he fails to do so, it will be clear that he is merely looking for political mileage, instead of benefits for Punjab’s farmers, by appearing as a savior�of Punjab’s waters. �If the case verdict is in favour of Badal, he will certainly use this issue to gain�support in the upcoming SGPC elections.
Captain Amarinder Singh knows Badal’s motives very well, which is�why he is�doing lip service regarding Punjab and SGPC elections.
Both Badal and Captain are not serious about Punjab’s water issue. �They are merely playing games. �Both of these leaders have ties with political parties which are against the interests of Punjab. �The Congress party was the one which had challenged Captain Amarinder Singh’s “Punjab Termination of Agreement Act 2004” and Badal’s ally, the BJP, too has given statements against Punjab in the Supreme Court. �The BJP has been advocating for sharing of more water in the Supreme Court.
I implore Punjabis to understand the dirty politics being played by these parties. �They should unite against the looting of Punjab waters and work to free the SGPC from Badal’s control.
India has been looting Punjab’s water and is behind the growing drug addiction in Punjab. �Both Badal and Congress are responsible for working against the interests of the Panth. �They are both being used against the Sikhs and Punjabis.
