:dateline:On April 2, a meeting of activists of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala (SYFB) was held in a Gurdwara Sahib near Chattiwind, Amritsar. The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss�strategies to curb�current threats to Punjab and to Sikhism.
Addressing the gathering of activists, SYFB President Dr. Gurjinder Singh said that the Badal-led Punjab government has been continously silent about the series of desecration incidents. He said�that the Punjab government was working under the influence of anti-Sikh powers. He expressed deep concern over the inability of the Punjab government to trace the police officers�responsible for opening fire on�peacefully protesting Sikhs at Behbal Klan. ��
Dr. Gurjinder Singh�predicted�the end of the Akali Dal�s regime in the upcoming assembly elections of 2017. He added that the youth of Punjab were drowning�in drugs, farmers were�committing suicides, and businesses�were�getting weaker day by day due to the inefficient policies of the Punjab government. �Despite the huge claims of the Punjab government to control female foeticide, Punjab is leading all other states in this aspect,� he added.
Among those present at the meeting were: Bhai Rajbir Singh (General Secretary, Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala (Amritsar)), Bhai Jasbir Singh (Senior Vice President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala (Amritsar)), Bhai Pawandeep Singh (District President from Amritsar), Bhai Kamaldeep Singh Sultanwind, Bhai Gurminder Singh (Media Secretary), Bhai Resham Singh (Political Secretary), Bhai Tarandeep Singh (District President from Tarn Taran), Bhai Arshdeep Singh (Vice Secretary), Bhai Hardeep Singh Khalistani, Bhai Poojanpreet Singh, Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, and Bhai Atinderpal Singh Sultanwind.
