:dateline:President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala (Amritsar) Dr. Gurjinder Singh was reportedly released on bail from Patti jail on the evening�of March 29. Dr. Gurjinder Singh was �arrested by the District Police of Tarn Taran on March 25 when he went to the City Police Station in relation to FIR No. 327 from December 12, 2015, registered against him under sedition charges.
He was later handed over to the Harike Police. SHO Balkar Singh of Harike Police Station has indicted Dr. Gurjinder Singh in the case of blockading the Harike Bridge for 11 days during protests following the period of desecration incidents last year.
Dr. Gurjinder Singh said that he was being targeted by police under political pressure. He said that the Punjab government can�t make him bow his head by committing any type of torture.
Those who were present to�receive Dr. Gurjinder Singh outside the Patti Jail, included: Bhai Rajbir Singh (General Secretary, Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala (Amritsar)), Bhai Pawandeep Singh (District President from Amritsar), Bhai Resham Singh (District President from Tarn Taran), Bhai Balwinder Singh (Press Secretary), Bhai Paramjit Singh Kot Budha, Bhai Surinder Singh Kot Budha,� Bhai Sajjan Singh Patti, and Bhai Jugraj Singh Fauji.
