:dateline:BlamingSukhbirBadal for shamingthe Sikhs,Dal Khalsaspokesperson Kanwar PalSingh said in a strong worded statement that thepictureof the President of Shiromani Akali Dal without a turban in public, if not doctored, has left Sikhs stunned and shocked. Several pictures of Sukhbir Badal went viral on social media yesterday, showing him playing Holi with his turban off.

In a statement, Kanwarpal Singhsaid that the Dal Khalsarespects the private life of every personand hasno objection overanyone celebrating the Holi festival. However, when the person happens to be a public figure of high statureand more so, the head of a Sikh party, then he is supposed to bedisciplined and decent. He further said that,”Sukhbir has failed the Sikh people.” In a sense, the Sikh diaspora is now hard pressed touphold the honor of turban worldwide, he remarked.
With the president of Akali Dal taking off his turban in public, the French Sikhs lose their moral strength to fight against the embarrassment and humiliation they had to face whentheir photos for governmentIDsand driving licenses were taken without their turbans, he claimed.
Whether Sukhbir Badal still deserves to be the head of the Akali Dal wouldsurely depend upon the rank and file of the party, which has been reduced to a family affair. For a true Sikh, Sukhbir has done irreparable damage to Sikh pride.
He said that the least we expect from Sukhbir was that he shouldbow his head at Akal Takhat and seek forgiveness from Almighty Waheguru and equally seek an apology from every Gursikh whosesentiments he has hurt.
Badal clans are not sikhs in the first place they are Hindus just dress wear turbans. Now what their true dress is topi with Shorts……. that would suit him more…… True RSS chamche . This Sukhbir has no shame in that …..
He wasn’t a true Sikh in his actions and standard of behaviour before and now he isn’t one in appearance either. No respect whatsoever for the dastaar anymore than he and his clan have for Panj Pyare or Miri Piri and perfectly demonstrates why he and and they had no interest in raising the issue of the dastaar with the French President when he came to Chandigarh. Now Hollande just has to say ‘well if the Sikh chief minister’s son and deputy head of Akal (Ba)Dal Party’ has no problem removing his turban in public for the most spurious of reasons then why shouldn’t Sikhs in France?’. Contrast Sukhbir’s actions in removing his dastaar to celebrate ‘Holi’ – a Hindu festival that Sikhs were explicitly told not to celebrate by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself who created ‘Hola Mohalla’ as a direct alternative for his Sikhs – and Harman Singh in New Zealand who removed his dastaar to help save the life of a child last year or Inderpal Singh and Kanwaljit Singh who removed their dastaars to stop youths form drowning in the canal at Sular Ghaat last year.

He’s an RSS Hindu just like his dad.
It’s just a matter of time Badal senior will be dead and the entire Akali Dal house of cards will shortly collapse thereafter.
