Vice President of Ghana Impressed by Harmandir Sahib

:dateline:Vice President of Ghana, Mr. Kwesi Amissah-Arthur,�visited�Harmandir Sahib along with his wife and a six membered delegation on March 16. At a press conference, Mr.�Amissah-Arthur�said that he had prayed for worldwide�communal harmony at Sri Darbar Sahib. He said that he was impressed by�all the people eating langar together irrespective of caste, creed and race. He added that he felt�lucky that he had gotten the chance�to visit such a highly�spiritual place. �Mr. Amissah-Arthur�and his wife also helped with langar preparation�in Guru Ram Dass Langar Hall. �

Mr. Amissah-Arthur�learned about Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Akal Takhat Sahib from Information Officer S. Jaswinder Singh. He and�his wife, and their accompanying team were rewarded with siropas, a memento of Harmandir Sahib, and religious books by Chief Secretary of SGPC Harcharan Singh and Chief Information Officer S. Gurbachan Singh. �

Mr. Samuel Yelly (High Commissioner Ghana in New Delhi), Mr. Samuel Albakwa, Mr. James, Mr. Emanuel, Professor Eels Eedam, Mr. Opelia, S. Lakhbir Singh (Deputy Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib) and S. Amritpal Singh (Information Officer) were also present. ���
