:dateline:Two new gold plated doors have�replaced the earlier silver doors which were installed at Takht Sahib Keshgarh Sahib. �While speaking with Sikh24, SGPC appointed Jathedar, Giani�Mal Singh said�that the seva of gold plated doors was done by�Baba Bhag�Singh Bange Wale.
“The new gold plated doors have been installed by replacing the earlier silver ones. It took six months to get the doors prepared,” Giani Mal Singh told Sikh24. �Giani Mal Singh today performed ardas to get the doors installed.
SGPC President Avtar Makkar, who was the chief guest today, said, “We have prepared these doors which cost us over Rs. 1 Crore (10 million INR). �These doors will beautify the look of Sri Takht Sahib even more,” he said.
SGPC President further stated that a new gold plated bed will replace the ancient bed where shastars were rested at the Takht Sahib.
Why our sikh leaders are not speaking and awakening the sikh sangat what these mahants are doing?
This is so sad! What happens to preserving our historical items – yes veerji these mahants will not stop at anything but destroy our history – perhaps somewhere Bhai Lashman Singh Dhaliwal will make a come back and get them out.
Although its good to beautify new look, but, Old buildings and artifacts from the times of Guru have even more value than gold and like for generations to come.
The mahants just don’t appreciate anything other than cash value.
