AMRITSAR / BATALA / JALANDHAR—Following his five day jour of Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal has said that if the Aam Aadmi Party comes into power, it will work to revive various industries across Punjab. Kejriwal toured various places in Punjab to promote his message.
In his speech to the industrialists at Batala, Kejriwal said that the policies of the Punjab government have been hostile to entrepreneurs. He said that since entrepreneurs are instrumental in tackling unemployment, these policies have prohibited the economic growth of the industrial sector in Punjab. Sri Kejriwal also said that the states extorts money from entrepreneurs and that revival of industry across Punjab is AAP’s primary goal.
In a special meeting with NRI’s at village Chaheru near Jalandhar, Sri Kejriwal urged them to play their part in bringing AAP to power in Punjab. He added that NRI’s played a vital role in AAP’s dominance in the Delhi assembly elections and that now it is time to help AAP in the assembly elections of Punjab.
Expressing deep concern over the drug epidemic in Punjab, Sri Kejriwal said that this epidemic could be ended within two months if AAP were to win the coming election. He also announced that AAP hopes to abolish all forms of organized crime and mafia across the state.
