Pakistan PM To Launch Postal Stamps Of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Nanakana Sahib:dateline:Through the efforts of Member Provincial Assembly S. Ramesh Singh Arora, the assembly of Western Punjab (Pakistan) yesterday passed a resolution to launch postal stamps,�dedicated to founder of Sikhism Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The Pakistan government has also announced the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji an official�holiday there.

Talking with Sikh24, MPA S. Ramesh Singh Arora announced�that all the MPA�s in the assembly extended support to his resolution in the assembly. He said�that the postal ticket would be released on the eve of 547th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji by the Pakistani Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and the Chief Minister of Western Punjab Shehbaz Sharif.

  1. If a stamp was done in India there would probably been protests by such groups claiming that it was sacrilege and that it is disrespect!!!

    • Might be worth it to get Hinduvta genocide apologists the like of RSS Harinder to lick the back side…. Then again considering his brownnosing after the Badals he probably thinks he has done that already. Seriously a stamp of Guru Nanak in India might help ‘Harinder’ remember the name of the founder of the Sikh religion as he always misses him out whenever he vainly tries to genealogically associate the Gurus names with the Mahabharat.

    We are respected by Pakistan but insulted by the Hindu Government and Badals!
