Punjab’s AAP Leader Sanjay Singh Bailed In Defamation Case

AAPLUDHIANA, Punjab—The state leader of the Aam Admi Party in Punjab, Sri Sanjay Singh, yesterday receives bail in adefemation case registered against him at the complaint of Cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia.

Majithia had filed a complaint against Sanjay Singh for leveling allegations of supplying drugs in Punjab. Two editors of an English newspaper and a local journalist was also reported in the complaint, however the court didn’t take any action against them.

Addressing media gathering outside Court, Sri Sanjay Singh stated that every child of Punjab knows that Bikram Singh Majithia is a drug smuggler. He added that he would present solid proof withing court about the involvement Majithia in the drug menace across Punjab.

It may be recalled here that the Akali ministers are continuously targeting AAP leaders in Punjab, due to the upcoming assembly elections of 2017.

The rising popularity of AAP’s amongst the masses of Punjab has forced senior Akali leaders to shoot political statements against AAP leaders. Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) is even sponsoring posts against AAP leaders on social media.
