Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the Sikhs for Justice legal adviser and Amarjit Singh Bhachu, London based solicitor, met with Labour Party MP John Speller in regards to the case of Bhai Pamma.
They urged immediate action by the UK Government as Bhai Pamma has been granted refugee status in the UK, and the UK government must take actions to protect his life.
Bhai Paramjit Singh Pamma was arrested from Portugal on December 18 by Interpol on request of the Indian Government. The Punjab Police is demanding Bhai Pamma’s extradition from the Portuguese government in the supposed murder case of Rulda Singh, president of the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat (Punjab), a right-wing terrorist organization.
