:dateline:Bibi Pinky Kaur, wife of Bhai Paramjit Singh Pamma has moved a petition in the European Parliament seeking his returnfrom Portugal to UK. The petition has been moved on the ground of mutual recognition of refugee status accepted by European countries as per the “Treaty On The Functioning of European Union”(TFEU).

Pinky Kaur is aPermanent Resident in the United Kingdom.

Talking with Sikh24s correspondent over phone, Bibi Pinky Kaur informed that the article 227 of TEFU enforces all other countries to recognize status of a refugee granted by one country to an outsider. She added that as per the TEFU regulations, Portugal cant extradite her husband to India because he is given refugee status by the United Kingdom after thoroughly probing danger to his life in India.

Meanwhile, a British politician named Sin Simon of the Labour Party has sent a written request to the European Parliament asking its Vice President to intervene in the case of Bhai Pamma to facilitate his deportation to United Kingdom.

Ateam of senior police officers from Punjab has reached Portugal. It will submit Bhai Pamma’sextradition papers to the Lisbon Court in Portugal on January 26.

  1. Punjab police – know the meaning of innocence, legality, legality or human rights ? its not heard of.
These dogs try their old tricks – waheguru be with Mr Paramjit Singh and his family!

They must be astonished that they have to wait another two days as Punjabi Police are used to just turning up whenever they like and unceremoniously bundling their Sikh suspects off into the back of a car without any fuss being made by anyone protesting about things like innocence, legality, decency or human rights – all concepts alien to Indian jurisprudence when it comes to Sikhs.
