Organization have constituted the commission to hold independent and transparent probe into the incident of Behbal Klan during which the Police opened firing at unarmed Sikh Sangat who were demonstrating peacefully against sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib happened at Bargari village.

Earlier, meetings of the commission were scheduled from January 22 to 24, but later the schedule was changed due to some reasons. Former DGP (jails) Shashi Kant will be the secretary of this commission. During the meetings, the commission will record statements. The commission will also write to home secretary and DGP of Punjab to present their sides, Advocate Cheema told Sikh24.

It is notable thatthe government had claimed the registration of a case of murder against the erring police officials, who had opened fire on October 14 in the village, yet the case seems to be only an eyewash as, besides being obscure, it does not mention the name of any accused.

The FIR was registered against unidentified persons under sections 302, 307, 34 IPC besides the arms Act on the complaint of Iqbalpreet Singh Sahota, director, Bureau of Investigation, on October 21, but itdoes not mention the name of any accused or raises finger on any police official.

  1. As always – really well outlined the true colours of this corrupt government. I cannot see anything coming out of the so called enquiry of whatever these corrupt puppets are doing. As for the Punjab CM posing as a Sikh … I could not have put it better myself – they are all ‘Giddar’ in ‘Sher Khal’…..
Please keep writing the truth as you do alway!

  2. Badal’s Punjab Government cannot and will not put the police officers who murdered these Sikhs into the firing line of justice as those officers (who remain anonymous even when supposedly arraigned!) would then name their superiors who gave them the orders and authorisation to shoot which goes back up through the ranks (all riddled with corruption) to the blood soaked hands of the Badals themselves. The Hinduvta Central Government similarly has a vested interest in both ensuring that their suckling puppies the Badals are ‘bullet proof’ with any such allegations coming up to the run-up of elections and also to prevent a precedent where Commissions actually end up finding out the truth about Police brutality and atrocities against civilians (which is against Indian tradition). We are back to the bad old days where a Punjab CM posing as a Sikh (complete with white beard, misty lense glasses and always slightly askew turban) is giving other pseudo looking Sikhs (you know the type – they wear neat looking turbans but trim their beards and the hair under the turban along with any morals) orders and incentives to murder real Sikhs on the streets of the Sikh homeland for daring to protest against sacrilege against our Guru. The only difference is technology is now available to the Sikh masses through the internet (despite the Sarkari’s China-like attempts to ban websites, social media and human rights organisations) and video recording on our smart phones so we can expose the liars and their killers even if NDTV will still tow the anti-national line against us. We need more human rights organisations in the Punjab and the Sikh masses to start using their mobile phones (use your audio recording feature in private meetings with SGPC officials, police etc) to record the crimes its Government is committing against them.
