Panj Pyare Begin Amrit Sanchaar Campaigns in Sirsa

Panj Piare:dateline:The Panj Pyare of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, who were suspended by SGPC executives, yesterday started a Amrit Sanchaar (baptism) campaign in Sirsa by holding a religious function there. The Amrit Sanchaar was held with the assistance of Baba Gurmeet Singh Tiloke Wale and other local Sikh activists. The function culminated in 70 people taking Pahul of Amrit.

Talking with Sikh24, Bhai Satnam Singh Khanda (one of the five beloved ones of Guru) saidthat they will continue their efforts for the preachment of Sikhi by holding Amrit Sanchaar programs across the country. He saidthat similar Amrit Sanchaar functions will also be held on January 30 and February 2 in Ferozepur and Gwalior, respectively.

On being asked about legally challenging the decision of SGPC executives suspending them, Bhai Satnam Singh Khanda said that they will not move to Court for reinstatement of their employment services. He added that instead of serving theSGPC (which has acquired a polotical and business attitude) they will serve Guru Sahib (God).

It is noteworthy here that Panj Pyare were sacked by SGPC executives for summoning the current politically installedTakht Jathedars (Gurbachan Singh and others), to publicly clarifythe unrequested pardon granted to cult leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
