AMRITSAR SAHIB—Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s 350th birth anniversary was celebrated with fervour at the Central Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib on January 16. Despite extremely cold day, thousands of devotees paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib on this day.
Exhibition of traditional antique items, weapons and ornaments was held at Gurdwara Baba Atal Rai Ji from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Renowned Ragi Jathas sung the Gurbani Kirtan whole day. Similarly, the Ragi jathas and Kathavachaks addressed the devotees with religious discourse at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib.
Sri Harmandir Sahib was beautifully decorated and display of fireworks was held after Rehras Sahib.
