:dateline:Following the orders of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, General Secretary of United Akali Dal, Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, was yesterday released from Sangrur Jail on bail. Activists of United Akali Dal and Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) warmly welcomed him outside the Sangrur jail.
Talking with Sikh24, Bhai Bathinda termed the illegal detention of �Sarbat Khalsa-2015� organizers as abduction by the Punjab government. He said that Badal had resolved to illegal tactics after watching the gathering of self-conveyed Sikhs at the �Sarbat Khalsa-2015�. He added that the Akali Dal (Badal) was trying to promote communal ideology under label of �Sadbhawna Rallies�.
SGPC member Jathedar Surjit Singh Kalaboola (General Secretary, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar), Advocate Rajdev Singh Khalsa, Former MP Jathedar Gurnaib Singh Sidhu, Bhai Parshotam Singh Fagguwala, Dr. Harmanjit Singh Rampura, Jathedar Randhir Singh Balia, Baba Bachittar Singh, Bhai Randhir Singh (District President, International Panthik Dal), Bhai Ravinderjit Singh Gogi (son of Bapu Surat Singh Ji Khalsa), Bhai Bhawandeep Singh Sidhu, Bhai Jang Singh and others received Bhai Bathinda as he was released from the jail.
