:dateline:Addressing a media gathering at the Chandigarh Press Club on December 26, cat- turned-whistle-blower, former Police Inspector Gurmeet Pinky has said that Punjab government was in a bid to frame him in fake cases. He alleged that his life was in danger as former DGP and current Chairman of Police Housing Corporation Sumedh Saini is eager to kill him.
Going over the�incident at Patiala jail, Gurmeet Pinky said that while returning from Patiala he and Journalist Kanwar Sandhu stayed at�Chawla restaurant in�Sirhind, where they got a call from Jail authorities that they didn�t recorded Kanwar Sandhu�s Aadhar Card number. He added that they gave Kanwar Sandhu�s Aadhar Card number to jail authorities.
Refuting allegations of an unauthorized meeting between Kanwar Sandhu and death row convict Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana, he said that Punjab government was trying to entrap him in a false case as proper entries were made by the jail authorities while facilitating the meeting between Journalist Kanwar Sandhu and Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana. ��
Pinky said that he was working to bring forward information about the extra judicial fake encounters of Sikh youth by Punjab police into the public domain, and will expose the truth with hard facts. He alleged that Bhai Rajoana was working with the help of the government for his own benefits.
RSS Harinder remains silent about Gurmeet Pinky’s revelations of the Punjab Police’s illegal and immoral treatment of Sikhs in Punjab (fake encounters, false arrests, disappearances, kidnapping, torture, rape, extra judicial killings and the desecration of corpses) although he will no doubt wish it all away and blame it on delusions of foreign Empires.
