You are not a Sikh so you are deliberately trying to conflate Sikhism monotheism with Hinduism’s polytheism. Whilst Sikhs can accept that Muslims have a different name for the only One True God (as they are a monotheistic faith) as Allah, and that Jews have a different name for the one true God Jehovah (as they are a monotheistic faith also) we do NOT believe in Jesus Christ being a manifestation of God upon the Earth as Sikhism is very clear that God has never been immanent in human form upon the earth. This means we also reject so called avatars like Krishna Ram etc and the ‘manifestions of divinity’ you as a Hindu believe in (we also totally reject polytheism and the pantheon of Gods and Goddesses, the caste system, horoscopes, idol worshipping, astrology, cows and the Ganges as being sacred etc). You want to believe in fictional epic poems like the ramayana and mahabharat (for which there is NO archealogical evidence and in the instance of Hanuman no evidence that monkeys, kings or not, could talk and fly) that’s fine, you are Hindu and should just be content with that identity and religion. I have no wish to convert you from your delusions if they give you some sense of spirituality but will protect the sanctity of Sikh religious doctrinal beliefs as Sikhism is not a pick and mix theology where you can dispense with those concepts that are inconvenient, uncomfortable for your personal peccadilloes like standing up for your and other peoples civil liberties and human rights.

I like science fiction as much as the next person and get my fill from watching the movies for this but you are going to have to face some facts even if not the historical home truths I have repeatedly brought to your attention. Parallel Universes are nothing more than theoretical and as with interstellar space travel going to be impossible to realise (certainly in your lifetime) because even if a means could be invented (such as time machines and worm holes) the energy required to burst through one ‘reality’ into a possible other is beyond what energy exists in our known universe. This should be enough to convince you that Waheguru really doesn’t intend for mankind to go off and mingle with other aspects of his creation and who can blame Him when we seem to be unable to get along on this wonderful planet he has created for us to live on. If your intent is to live forever then there is no other path than that of the Gurmukh finding the grace of God within you and doing enough in your life to abandon ego and the temptations of manmukh to merge back into Him.

Everybody has to die ‘RSS Harinder’ – it is natural and inevitable but there is a difference between living as a free human being and existing as a slave. A Sikh concerns himself with how he lives – quality not quantity – because He believes in Waheguru and has to answer to Him. You do not have even one more second of life than that which God has not prescribed for you so a Sikh is not afraid of death. There would be no refugees fleeing anywhere if people realised they are all God’s children and treated their neighbours as they would wish to be treated.

That has been done throughout Sikh history by the Moghuls, the British and now the Indians – yet the Sikhs still endure and indeed have increased in both numbers and resolve. Waheguru is with us, that is why you live in fear and dread whilst we live in Chardi Kala. Gandhi was labelled terrorist, Menachem Begin was labelled terrorist – now they are both recognised as freedom fighters for their countries. The only Empire that controls you is the fear of losing your life but for a Sikh it is losing his honour for that was bestowed to him by the Gurus.

RSS is a clear and present danger not only to the Sikhs (with its agenda of embracing Sikhism into the fold of Hinduism) but to all other religious minorities in India. Their beliefs are akin to the Moghul belief of hegemony and dominance over other peoples in the subcontinent and as such the Khalsa’s response must be the same – to resist such despotism. IN the RSS case it is also currently the militant woing of the ruling BJP which gives it enormous power and influence to use the apparatus of a nation state against peoples it does not consider to be pure. One only has to look at its programme of rewriting unfavourable (to its image) history in school text books in India and its abominal Ghar Wapsi initiative to see the danger. I have previously and at length explained to you its obvious parallels to the Nazi SS’s notions of national purity and just as the Sikhs fought against those fascists in north Africa and Italy we will fight them here in India too for the sake of not just our own liberty but those of other vulnerable minorities (whether they be Christian, Muslim or even Hindu so that the Dalit is free to choose what station in life he wishes to attain and break those shackles of caste the RSS is intent upon maintaining). And your plea that we are not policeman (and by extension should therefore stand by and do nothing when we see abuses and injustice done against ourselves and others) is totally antithetical to Sikh belief (which I can understand you find infuriating as a Hindu) – it is the moral responsibility of every Sikh to stand up to repression and that is why to a very large extent India became free in 1947 despite Sikhs being a tiny proportion of the populace their contribution and sacrifice for independence is greater than any other peoples of the subcontinent. You are right only in that Sikhism is a universal faith and the sooner its ideals and concepts of liberty are accepted by the Hinduvta gangs the better it will be for all of India.
