Panj Pyare Set Ultimatum For SGPC To Dismiss Takht Jathedars By January 2

panj-payaras-amritsar:dateline:In a press note shared with Sikh24, the Panj Pyare (the five Beloved of Guru Sahib) of Sri Akal Takht Sahib have ordered SGPC executives to sack Takht Jathedars of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Sri Damdama Sahib and Sri Kesgarh Sahib byJanuary 2. They have stated that they would take furtheraction against SGPC authorities if they fail to follow their order.

Notably, the Panj Pyarehad earlier suspended Takht Jathedars on October 23 for undermining the supremacy of temporal posts of Sikhism by exonerating Gurmeet Ram Rahim from blasphemy charges. However, the Panj Pyare were later dismissed by the SGPC authorities. Under immense criticism, the SGPC had to reinstate Panj Pyares but they were transferred to Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

The Panj Pyare have also alleged that Chief Secretary Harcharan Singh was threatening them from time to time and had even said he wouldabolish the posts of Panj Pyare. However on being contacted by Sikh24 correspondents, Chief Secretary Harcharan Singh refuted the allegations.

The Panj Pyare (five beloved of Guru Sahib) namely Bhai satnam Singh Khanda, Bhai Major Singh, Bhai Mangal Singh, Bhai Satnam Singh and Bhai Tarlok Singh have said that the dismissed Takht Jathedars are passing resolutions without any authorization and the SGPC ought to oust them to prove it’sadherence to Sikh tenets.

  1. The Panj Pyare have spiritual authority (conferred upon them by Guru Granth Sahib) so can remove the SGPC and Akali Dal. The SIkh Panth through the sangat of the Sarbat Khalsa has similarly condemned the anti-Sikh actions of the SGPC and Akali (Badal) Dal.

    • Correction -The Panj Pyare’s spiritual authority was conferred upon them by Guru Gobind Singh Ji but of course this authority continues in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib as our ever lasting Guru since 1699. time.

  2. Wise ,Smart and Knowledgeable Sikhs fellow got to find a right equation for the relation between these Seven Sikh variables :–
    1) Sikh People — x
    2) Akal Takth — –y
    3) Akali Dal —— z
    4) SGPC ———–a
    5) Panj Payaras —b
    6) SGPC head —–c
    7) Sarbatt Khalsa —“d”
    8) Small Sikh groups like : Dal Khalsa ,5 Pardhani ,NRI etc –e
This will Prevent confusion and cross talk
May be Sikh in different countries can set up their own precedence .

    • Sikhs in different countries do not need to set up any of their own precedence as all are part of the Sikh Nation and thus indivisible the Sarbat Khalsa is an obvious example of this calling together as it did all the Panth from around the world even though the Punjab and State Government is intent upon trying to divide the Sikhs by stopping Sikhs from returning to their homeland. The SGPC and Akali Dal have proven themselves to be corrupt and in cahoots for political and personal economic gain (the unwarranted and even unasked for pardoning for heretic Gurmeet Ram Rahim is the clearest example of how both are now totally discredited) and have no doctrinal authority whatsoever being nothing more than administrative bodies. SO that just leaves the Akal Takht which is the temporal seat of SIkh power (and the reason why the Indian army blew it up in 1984) and the Panj Pyare (who have spiritual authority invested in them by Guru Gobind Singh himself). The Panj Pyare have already condemned the anti-SIkh actions of the SGPC and the Sarbat Khalsa (which epitomises the democratic concept of the sangat) has appointed new Jathedars to remedy the undermining of Sikh doctrine which has been presided over by the collaboration of both SGPC and AKali (Badal) Dal which are no longer acting in the best interests of SIkhism but purely self interest of mahants.

      • It’s not a matter about ‘reconciling differences’ – it’s about removing the cancerous tumours from the body. The SGPC needs to be cleaned out as its entire leadership has proven to be totally unworthy and unable to represent Sikh interests. They offered a pardon to a heretic who didn’t even seek pardon because of pressure from the equally corrupt and discredited Akali Badal Dal who in turn wanted Rahim’s vote bank to keep them in power. The Panth has expressed its revulsion through the Sangat gather in the Sarbat Khalsa. It is clear the likes of Makkar and Badal will not leave the stage but cling to power as long as their Hinduvata puppet masters think they can be useful either as stooges or as a means of conjuring up the false notion of a split in the Sikh Panth so they can pursue the divide and conquer agenda. This will fail and as soon as the Hinduvata gang realise both Badal and Makkar are damaged goods they will drop them but by that late stage the Khalsa Panth will have already neutered their malign influence.
