Captain Amarinder Singh Demands Suspension of Ex-DGP Sumedh Saini

cpt amarinder:dateline:Formally addressing a press conference at Chandigarh, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee�s Chief Captain Amarinder Singh has demanded an investigation against former Director General of Police, Sumedh Saini, for committing fake ‘encounters’ (killings) against innocent Sikhs and their families. He also demanded immediate suspension of Sumedh Saini from his post on the basis of revelations made by Gurmeet Pinky.

Captain Amarinder Singh said that an immediate probe against Sumedh Saini and other police officers was required for committing extra judicial murders�of Sikh youth. He added that on the basis of revelations made by cat, turned policeman Gurmeet Pinky, the government should immediately register a case�against Sumedh Saini for receiving a bribe worth Rupees 5 million.

Captain Amarinder Singh asserted that he was adamant about abolishing the Mafia network created by Sukhbir Badal led Punjab government in transport, sand and property. He made clear that after getting into power he wouldn�t play vendetta politics and would work for the development of Punjab.

Meanwhile, the Congress head has reinstated all the Congress leaders terminated by ex-chief Partap Singh Bajwa and has announced to contest the upcoming assembly elections in alliance with other ideological homogenous parties like the Communist Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and People’s Party of Punjab.
