‘RSS Harinder’ I really feel pity for you not just because of your jealousy of Sikhs but your actual ignorance of their achievements which you are so stupid to keep posting on a Sikh news website. I suppose it is good because it shows the inadequate mentality of the RSS that they are (correctly) ashamed of their own forefathers (up to 68% of the population when you take out the Muslims and Christians) lack of achievements they have to scrabble around to try and cast aspersions against the Sikhs. Even with just 2 % of the population we have worked wonders in every field so listen up and learn (something you cannot do in the Indian school history books the RSS / BJP are busy trying to rewrite:

I am not just talking about the two foremost freedom fighters that gave India independence (indeed I have told you repeatedly Sikhs as less than 2% of the population were disproportionately prominent in the Ghadr and NLA movements as well as the armies winning Victoria Crosses and Merits of Distinction far and above what their numbers should suggest) but also those Sikhs that stood up after it was formed (e.g. who accepted Pakistan’s surrender – it was General Jagjit Singh Aurora, who was the last INdian fighter pilot to fight the Nazis it was Mohinder Singh (who fought in the Battle of Britain), who was the first to sign up to fight in world war I in the skies – it was Hardit Singh Malik (who fought the Kaiser’s Red Baron), Nirmaljit Singh Sekhon won INdia’s Paramvir Chakra (highest medal for gallantry of Indian Military) for single handedly taking on six Pakistani Air Force Sabres, Air Chief Marshal Arjan Singh – the list is endless unlike yours which has no beginning.
You say Sikhs have not made mark in sports – who is still today the most famous indian athlete – it is the flying Sikh Milkha Singh! What of Dara Singh, Former Indian Wrestling champion, Fauja Singh, 95+-year-old marathon runner, Udham Singh, Indian hockey player (4 Olympics: 3 gold, 1 silver) MOvies – ever hear of Dharmendra (born Dharminder) or Gurinder Chadha, director (Bend It Like Beckham), – Khulvinder Ghir, comedian and actor (Goodness Gracious Me) – Rupak Mann, actress (winner of Bollywood Star) – Parminder Nagra, actress working in Hollywood, Vicky Singh, bollywood actress. What about world famous musicians Jay Sean (real name: Kamaljit), Bally Sagoo, Musician, Jagjit Singh and Gurdas Mann? What about Sikhs making mark in literature? Bhai Vir Singh, Punjabi poet, Khushwant Singh, English-language novelist, Simon Singh, popular-science author, Dr. Dalip Kaur Tiwana, Punjabi novelist. Art? Ever hear of Sobha Singh or the Singh Twins who are exhibiting in galleries not just in India but the West? And there is no surprise when you make no mention of political leadership when we have Maharaja Ranjit Singh and great generals of the Khalsa like Banda Singh Bahadur, Hari Singh Nalwa ( who was so feared by the Afghan) not to mention our Great Gurus (or have you forgotten that Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur gave up his life to defend the Hindu religion of Kashmiri Pandits when the Moghul Emperor demanded they become Muslim? Perhaps you have forgotten the Khalsa army of Banda SIngh Bahadur when it was attacking the much larger Afghan and Pathan armies to free kidnapped Hindu women and bring them back to their villages in the Punjab? As for Sikhs not making their mark in inventions and industries what about Narinder Singh Kapany – Indian-born American physicist known for his work in fibre optics. He was named as one of the seven ‘Unsung Heroes’ by Fortune magazine in their ‘Businessmen of the Century’ issue (1999-11-22).He is also known as “Father of Fiber Optics. A Chinese-origin electrical engineer Charles Kao would go on to win the Nobel Prize in 2009 along with Willard Boyle and George Smith for their works in the field of telecommunication fiber optics but acknowledged he wouldn�t have been as successful without Kapany�s pioneering works. Kapany, who settled in the US, founded and led multiple companies working exclusively in the field of fiber optics. He wrote over 100 scientific papers and four books about it. He is world renowned in his field. It is an embarrassment of riches the leading contributions Sikhs have made and the Khanda will fly in Space too (I am not surprised India will not allow a Sikh astronaut as that would really drive home the inadequacy of the 68%!)
It really is shocking that your forefathers could not stand up for themselves when it came to foreign subjugation and I understand why you feel such bitter resentment (and lets face it shame) as it is an affront to your RSS ego that the Sikhs have achieved so much in so little time and with so few.

The only paradox is how galling it must be for you to have to swallow the historical fact that both Bhagat SIngh and Udham Singh were Punjabi Sikhs and were the rule not the exception to Sikhs fighting for freedom from tyrannical rule. All you RSS cowards produced was Nathuram Godse, Digambar Bagde, Madanla Pahwa and Shankar Kishtaiyya who murdered the father of the nation! You can’t claim ANY independence heroes whilst the Sikhs (who were barely 2 % of the subcontinents population) have endless numbers of martyrs to call upon from the Ghadr movement, NLA as well as those who actually fought against Japanese and German fascism. The number and manner in which you have murdered Sikhs (and propose continue in doing so to repress their desire for human rights and civil liberties) and the broken promises (which persuaded Master Tara Singh to throw in his lot with India rather than go back to an independent Sikh state) are the only things that would give Bhagat and Udham Singh pause to wonder if their supreme sacrifices were worth it.

By the way there are more Hindus (according to the most recent population census) in Britain with British passports than there are Sikhs with British passports. And FYI the British Empire no longer exists – it was replaced with the Commonwealth and Britain’s ability to influence the governments of former colonies faded (virtually all of them ganged up to reject Britain’s attempt not to impose sanctions on apartheid South Africa for example in a humiliating display of defiance) until now we have the British PM grovelling to the Indian State ignoring Modi’s suspect past for trade and investment. I know it is difficult for you to give up your slave mentality (know your place, keep quiet, do what the state tells you no matter how immoral etc) from imperial times but that is the difference between you and a Sikh as we have never accepted subservience either from the Moghul or British eras.

What a troubled mind you have ‘RSS Harinder’ – first you do your utmost to try and mix up Sikh theology with Hinduism and when that obviously fails you try and mix up Sikhism with Islam with this talk of Salafist and Wahhabi crap. If you knew anything about SIkhs you would well understand that Sikhs defeated ISIS / Taleban forefathers to found their own independent sovereign Sikh state under Maharajah Ranjit Singh. There is no doubt you hate the Sikhs – you are jealous of their glorious history and theology as you have nothing that can compare except fictional stories of heroism. You and your RSS ilk make up Santo Banto jokes against the Sikhs because you fear the Khalsa and rightly so because we will not stand idly by and allow you to terrorize innocent people no matter what faith they come from – Muslim, Christian, Sikh or the Hindu Dalit you are so determined with your ghar wapsi to keep within your clutches. You believe in human rights and civil liberties abuses and in arbitrary murder (although you want it carried out in your name by others in uniform – how brave) but are too stupid to see the irony when you accuse others of salafist/ wahhabi fanaticism. Congratulations ‘RSS Harinder’ you have proven your fascist credentials so should move up the ranks of the RSS.

A SIkh is not someone who merely looks like a Sikh but acts like one too. The Badals are discredited puppets of the BJP just as Manmohan was a front for the Congress – neither have worked in the interests of the Sikh Nation as both the current deplorable state of Punjab (nearly bankrupt, highest rate of drug addiction, infant mortality, female infanticide, polluted water and sacrilege against the Guru Granth Sahib) and continuing injustice to the SIkh victims of the anti Sikh pogroms of 1984 clearly attests. ‘Stop being greedy, what more do you want’? We are not dogs looking for scraps from the master’s table ‘RSS’ ‘Harinder’, we are the Sikhs who gave up more proportionally than any other community in the subcontinent to both free (as the Ghadr party and the Shaheeds Bhagat SIngh and Udham SIngh etc) and create (land and blood in the partition of the SIkh homeland of Punjab) India.

A civilised, mature democracy should not fear its people – Britain held vote for Scottish independence last year and made a heartfelt plea to the proud Scots to remain in the British Union. Having made concessions to Scottish nationalism it won the day. The Sikhs are just as proud and noble as the Scots and if India has the moral courage to acknowledge the injustices down to them can just as easily obtain a mandate from the Sikh masses to remain the country which has cost Sikhs so much blood and pain to free and build.
