:dateline:The Punjab government has announced the�adding of the prefix �Sri� to the name of the historical Sikh city of Anandpur Sahib.
The Additional Chief Secretary of the Punjab government has issued a notification regarding change of name in all official records of government departments.
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal had earlier made the commitment of this change during the 350th foundation anniversary of Sri Anandpur Sahib, in June this year.
