CRAWLEY, UK—The individuals involved in the reported disrespect of Guru Granth Sahib at the Gurdwara Sahib in Crawley, UK, have now stepped down from the committee.
Reports have emerged that the ‘Satkar Committee’ of the UK has intervened and announced that the local sangat of the Gurdwara Sahib are happy with the president and secretary resigning. The sangat has accepted apologies and are to deal with any remaining issues internally.
Only a week ago, reports had emerged via the release of CCTV footage from within the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, of management members removing Guru Granth Sahib saroops with complete absence of protocol and respect.
