It is noteworthy that CBI had earlier filed its closure report on the case exonerating Jagdish Tytler. CBIs move was later challenged by Sikh Genocide 1984s victim Lakhwinder Kaur, whose husband Badal Singh was burnt alive by the Hindu mobs lead by Jagdish Tytler in Gurudwara Pulbangash situated in North Delhi. Total three Sikhs namely Badal Singh, Thakur Singh and Gurcharan Kaur were reduced to ashes by the Hindu mobs in this incident on November 1, 1984.
