Birmingham UK: Missing Sikh Banker Who Disappeared After Meal

BIRMINGHAM, UKā€”Police have issued a picture of a banker who went missing in the city centre.

Officers have been searching canals in the Broad Street area, after Inderjit Bhogal, 41, from Handsworth, went missing after having a meal with colleagues at the Brasshouse pub on Broad Street at around 10.45pm last Friday.

West Midlands Police said officers were growing increasingly concerned for his safety .

The force said specialist teams had conducted extensive inquiries, including searching the canal network around Brindleyplace.

Mr Bhogal is described as Asian, 6ft tall and slim. He has a moustache and beard and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, jacket and trousers. He was also wearing a black turban.

Police appealed for Mr Bhogal, or anyone who knew of his whereabouts, to call them on 101.
