:dateline:To mark 340th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, Uttar Pradesh�s state government has announced a state-wide holiday on December 16.
All schools and administrative chambers will be remained closed on December 16.
Confirming the development, Jail Minister of Uttar Pradesh S. Balwant Singh Ramuwalia announced�that the martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji will be observed in 42 Gurdwaras across state. He also said that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and President�of Samajwadi Party Mulayam Singh Yadav will meet Sikh leaders on the day.
