:dateline:Acting on a�petition submitted�by Simranjit Singh Mann against the Punjab government, for falsely leveling sedition charges against him, Justice Ajay Tiwari of Punjab & Haryana High Court has issued a notice to Punjab government to reply on the issue by�January 18.
Mann had claimed in the petition that the Punjab government did not possess any evidence for the sedition charges leveled against him following �Sarbat Khalsa�. Mann had further clarified in the petition that Punjab government was misusing its administrative powers by labeling him as a secessionist, as�constitutionally demanding a separate nation was the basic right of every citizen.
