:dateline:Organizers of Sarbat Khalsa 2015, namely Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, Bhai Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala and Bhai Satnam Singh Manawa have been sent on two days police remand by Magistrate Harsimranjit Singh. The trio were brought in the court on production warrants by the police.
Police had demanded 14 days of remand citing that the organizers of Sarbat Khalsa had jeopardized the peace and harmony of Punjab. �However, the court sanctioned only two days of remand after hearing arguments by the defense lawyer Advocate Gurpreet Singh.
Heavy police force was deployed in the court and all supporters were kept distanced from the Sikh leaders. �Their supporters shouted slogans against the Punjab Government and in favor of Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara.
It is notable that Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda had read the resolutions during Sarbat Khalsa while Bhai Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala was acting as stage secretary and Bhai Satnam Singh Manawa was managing the stage.
