TROY, Michigan, USA—Dasvandh Week is off to another great start this year, with over $135,000 pledged donations in just the first half of #DasvandhWeek. Over $40,000 donations were pledged just on the first day, leading to exhaustion of the one time matching funds.
In a press release, Dasvandh Network mentioned that the 3rd annual Dasvandh Week has been the largest fundraising week yet. There are over 50 projects registered on Dasvandh Network. All of these projects belong to non-profit Sikh organizations registered in the US.
There has been great buzz about Dasvandh Week on social media since the past week. Sikh organizations have been appealing to their supporters through Facebook, Twitter and emails to donate.
