Earlier today pages from Hindu scriptures of Srimad Bhagvat Geeta, Ramayan and other granths were torn and thrown on a road in Chandra Nagar, Ludhiana.A pair of Sikh brothers and sisters rushed out from a local Gurdwara Sahib, when they were informed about the pages on the street.
They collected the torn pages and respectfully gave them to what they described as their ‘Hindu brothers’. These were then handed over to the police.
CCTV footage from numerous road cameras obtained some time later, showed 4 Hindu men scattering torn pages which they had brought with them in polythene bags.
They were arrested a few hours later.
