Rejecting Baba Harnam Singh Dhumma’s arguments of there being no traditional sanctity of ‘Sarbat Khalsa’ outside Sri Akal Takht Sahib, he asserted that ‘Sarbat Khalsa’ could be called at any historical place and that was why they chose the current venue as Baba Deep Singh Ji and his accompanies attained martyrdom while fighting against Mughals at this location.

Bhai Mand also appealed to Sikhs masses to remain aware of the false statements by government agencies to sabotage the event and discourage the Sikh masses from attending. He made it clear that only Panthik isuues would be deliberated on at the ‘Sarbat Khalsa’.
