Talking with Sikh24’s reporters, Bapu Ji’s son Bhai Ravinderjit Singh Gogy said that due to the injection of supplements and other medicines, Bapu Ji’s physique has shown improvement. Further, he said that despite physical weakness Bapu Ji is spiritually in Chardi Kla (soaring spirits) and is firm on his stance of continuing his hunger strike until the release of Sikh prisoners who have completed their term.

He said that Bapu Ji is feeling pained at the current desecration incidents across Punjab and the atrocities of Punjab government on innocent Sikhs. He added that Bapu Ji firmly stands with the call for ‘Sarbat Khalsa’ to deliberate upon the strategies to tackle the challenges facing the Sikh Panth.

It is notable that Bapu Ji was forcefully admitted to DMC Hospital a few days ago when he fell unconscious for multiple hours and was taken to the intensive unit.
